Stunning little black dress from the late 50s - early 60s!
DETAILS: - Black satin, lined with black synthetic - Horizontal darts at bust - Vertical darts at waist - Full skirt pleated at the waist - Diagonal ruffle embellishing skirt - Half sleeves - Closes in back with a metal zipper (it's not zipped all the way in modeled pics as I couldn't reach around, but it fully zips up to the collar) - Please note the petticoat and gloves aren't included and are just shown for inspiration - the dress without these is shown on the hanger

PLACE OF ORIGIN: Unknown (zipper is Swiss/Italian)
SIZE: All measurements taken with garment lying flat. There is little to no give in the fabric:
Bust (armpit to armpit): 35.5" (90cm) Waist: 27" (69cm) Length (shoulder at collar to skirt hem): 40" (102cm) Waist to skirt hem: 24.5" (62.5cm) Sleeve length (shoulder to hem): 10.25" (26cm)
For reference, my measurements in the photos are 34"-27"-36".
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition.
There's some scuffs scattered throughout the satin, the largest one being at the back side waist (could probably be covered by a belt). See last photo. Dress has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear.
