Wow, wow, wow, what an amazing find... a true bombshell dress from the late 50s-early 60s!😻
DETAILS: - Black crepe, fully lined with black synthetic - Ruched bodice with shelf bust - Floral embroidered applique with beads and iridescent sequins decorating the front collar - Gathered Queen Anne straps (they were uncomfortably snug on the shoulder, so I modeled them off-shoulder) - Vertical darts below the waistband to create hourglass silhouette - Slit in the back skirt - Closes in back with an Opti zipper, fastened at top with hook & loop

Bust (armpit to armpit): 34" (86cm) Waist: 27" (68cm) Hip: 37" (94cm) Armpit to hem: 34" (86cm) Length (shoulder to hem): 41.5" (105cm)
For reference, my measurements in the photos are 34"-27"-36".
CONDITION: Good vintage condition.
One string of sequins has come off - it's not very noticeable, but I left the thread in case the new owner wants to replace them. There's mild fading at the underarms. The back skirt seam has been professionally repaired. The side seam of the skirt lining has split, however I left it unrepaired to facilitate any future alteration. Also, the loop for the hook is only one thread. See last photo. Garment has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear.
