Amazing taffeta Victorian-style ballroom gown from the 1970s-80s! It may have once been a theatre costume.
DETAILS: - Double-sided iridescent midnight blue taffeta - the backside is indigo - so pretty! - Two ruffles at elasticized collar, bottom ruffle is indigo - Side zipper - Elasticized waist - Skirt has three tiers of ruffles - Skirt lined with matching taffeta for fullness - Two stays and extra elastic at interior waist (not sure what that was for)

Armpit to armpit: 41" (104cm) Waist: 17"- 27.5" (44-70cm) Armpit to hem: 49" (124cm) Waist to hem: 41" (104cm)
For reference, my measurements in the photos are 34"-26.5"-36".
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition.
There are some streaks and worn marks scattered throughout the taffeta, mostly at the bottom of the skirt but also on the back bodice (hidden under the ruffle). I also noticed a couple of runs near the zipper. See last photo. Garment has been washed, however could use a pressing since the taffeta wrinkles easily.
