Amazing strapless gown from the 80s, with a touch of Snow White! Perfect as a holiday dress, costume, or unique prom or party outfit.
DETAILS: - Eggplant purple taffeta bodice - Black velveteen waist - Crimson red satin skirt with embroidered floral cutout (color varies by photo, but I've included a color block for the approximate shade) - Dipped waist - Full skirt pleated at waist - Boning in bodice - Dress fully lined with matching synthetic - Attached tulle skirt and interfacing for fullness - Label advises dry clean, however I found the dress can be gently washed in cold water

For reference, my measurements are 33"-27"-36" and I was able to squeeze into this dress.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition.
The satin skirt is worn out in places, mostly hidden along the sides/back/bottom and which get lost in the fullness. There's a hand repair of the stitching attaching the zipper at the waist, and the lining has come loose at the bottom of the zipper. The lining is worn out in a few places but this isn't visible on the outside. There's also mild discoloration on parts of the bottom skirt hem. See last two photos. Garment has been washed and is ready to wear.
